The Johnnie Walker Black Podium will welcome reggae-dancehall master Burna Boy, joined by City FM’s SenseiUche live in Abuja.
The Johnnie Walker Black Podium, the nation’s
boldest, most unique party experience, takes on Abuja this weekend, with
performances by some of the country’s top artists at Club XO.
At XO on Saturday, March 21, The Johnnie Walker Black Podium will welcome reggae-dancehall master Burna Boy, joined by City FM’s SenseiUche as well as breath-taking contortionist act, D&R, dancers, a saxophonist and Abuja’s Cool FM DJ Ttb.
Having
released his most recent hit, “Check & Balance” late last year,
Burna Boy travelled to South Africa earlier this year where he worked
with the country’s top hip hop star, D.A. Les. Contortionist group,
D&R, meanwhile, wowed the crowd at the Johnnie Walker Black Podium
event in Lagos last weekend.
“This is the first time we are taking a big Black Podium event outside of Lagos so it's Abuja's turn to take the next step up.
Other
Black Podium events taking place this weekend include Boom Nightclub,
Owerri and Bolex Lounge, Bayelsa on Friday, March 20 as well as
Goodfellas Lounge, Asaba, and Cosmo Lounge, Port Harcourt, on Saturday,
March 21.
Along with exciting line-ups of live
music and entertainment, each guest also participates in an exclusive
Johnnie Walker tasting experience.
Doors open at venues from 10pm till late.
